The Development Oase Fund (Oase) is an initiative of the Dutch Film Fund designed to support independent documentary directors in the early exploration and development of feature-length documentary ideas. The fund focuses on cinematic quality, artistic depth, and long-form storytelling intended for theatrical or equivalent high-quality presentation.
The Oase Fund provides:
€10,000 for research and development activities
Support specifically allocated for developing a treatment
Eligible activities include research, narrative exploration, artistic testing, and conceptual development directly related to producing a documentary treatment.
