About Nerdz Factory - Become a Digital Safety Champion with the SafeOnline Youth Track Programme
The Youth Track is the engine of SafeOnline 2026. Selected and trained by NerdzFactory, Youth Track members become frontline educators running in-person AI literacy and digital safety sessions for senior secondary school students, leading AI Literacy Circle discussions, and championing healthy online habits in their communities.

Training & Certification
- Foundational and applied training on how AI works, identifying AI-generated content, cyber hygiene, and responsible online behaviour plus hands-on preparation to lead interactive sessions, group activities, and AI Literacy Circles with teenagers in schools and communities.
Mentorship & Network
- Access to mentors, NerdzFactory support, and a network of Youth Track peer educators across participating locations.
Recognition
- Receive an official certificate and public recognition for your contributions to AI literacy and online safety among Nigerian teenagers.
Nerdz Factory - Become a Digital Safety Champion with the SafeOnline Youth Track Programme Requirements
To qualify for the SafeOnline 2026 Youth Track, you must meet all requirements below.
Serving NYSC Member
- You must be a currently serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member.
Serving in a Priority State
- You must be currently serving in one of the priority states
Passion for Digital Safety
- You must have a strong interest in promoting AI literacy and online safety among young people.
Comfortable Facilitating Groups
- You must be willing and able to lead training sessions for groups of teenagers.
