Opportunity Details
Our Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week experience and an opportunity for students and emerging professionals to explore a career in public service. Summer interns work on exciting projects in one of NYCEDC’s many dynamic departments. They also participate in training programs, networking events, and other professional development opportunities over the course of the program.
Formal orientation on the first day.
Weekly “EDC 101” seminars to learn about different departments.
Direct mentorship from managers (often former interns).
Access to company-wide events like townhalls and summer outings.
Open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates.
International students with valid F-1 visas are eligible.
Students with CPT, OPT, or STEM-OPT authorization can also apply.
Requires resume and cover letter.
Option to submit supplemental materials (e.g., writing sample, portfolio).
