The Hallas-Møller Ascending Investigator Grant supports mid-career researchers aiming to advance their careers to the highest international level. This grant is specifically designed for those in the bioscience and basic biomedicine sectors, focusing on novel projects with significant scientific impact.
Benefits of Novo Nordisk Foundation - Hallas-Møller Ascending Investigator – Bioscience and Basic Biomedicine Program
- A total of up to DKK 100 million is available, of which up to DKK 50 million is prioritised for international recruitment.
- For candidates relocating to Denmark upon awarding of the grant, extra funding of up to DKK 12.5 million and extra time of up to 2 years can be allocated (i.e., total of up to DKK 25 million per grant distributed over a grant period of up to 7 years).
- For each grant (non-relocation), approximately DKK 2.5 million can be awarded per year, over a 5-year grant period, for a total budget of up to DKK 12.5 million per grant.
Novo Nordisk Foundation - Hallas-Møller Ascending Investigator – Bioscience and Basic Biomedicine Program Requirements
- Career Stage: Associate Professors or equivalent, with 7 to 18 years of postdoctoral research experience.
- Research Profile: Applicants must have a documented high-impact research record, senior authorships, and an individual research profile.
- Project Requirements: Proposals should be novel and have high scientific impact potential.
- International Experience: Ideal candidates will have international research experience.
