Applicant Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent degree obtained within the last six years before the application deadline.
- Be a postdoctoral researcher seeking advanced scientific training.
- Conduct research within eligible scientific disciplines.
- Secure a host institution located in:
- Denmark
- Finland
- Iceland
- Norway
- Sweden
PhD Candidates
Applicants who have not yet completed their PhD may apply if:
- Their doctoral defense is scheduled before 1 April 2027.
- A supervisor provides written confirmation of the expected defense date.
The fellowship cannot begin until the PhD degree has been officially awarded.
