Opportunity Details
OCIF GROW, the newly launched fund of the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) in South Africa, is an extension of the Orange Corners incubation and acceleration programmes internationally, designed to address the financing needs of young entrepreneurs in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. OCIF supports young entrepreneurs to scale their businesses, create jobs and address local social challenges.
Funding between R200,000 – R1,000,000.
Support for innovative products, processes, business models, or marketing strategies.
Opportunity to expand workforce and align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ongoing support and impact measurement during the project’s life.
Open to youth (18–35) who are graduates of Orange Corners programmes or own innovative businesses in South Africa.
Applicants must be South African citizens, permanent residents, or legal entities controlled by them.
Businesses must:
Be youth-owned and managed.
Operate within the first 7 years.
Have at least 6 months of trading history.
Show annual turnover between ZAR 250,000 – ZAR 10 million.
Demonstrate clear innovation with proven market traction.
Address local challenges and SDGs.
Show ability to repay loan portion of funding.
Provide ongoing impact reports.
