About PeaceJam Foundation - One Billion Acts of Peace Changemaker Fellowship
The One Billion Acts of Peace Changemaker Fellowship is a yearlong leadership and development programme for young adults who have already started building something meaningful in their communities. Rather than focusing solely on ideas that are yet to be implemented, the fellowship seeks young leaders who are already actively working on a project, grassroots initiative, nonprofit, activist campaign or mission-driven enterprise.
Benefits of PeaceJam Foundation - One Billion Acts of Peace Changemaker Fellowship
- Yearlong Mentorship: Fellows will learn the skills our Nobel Laureates used to effect change via monthly sessions designed around the competencies they would most like to cultivate.
- A Community of Changemakers: Connect with other leaders in our global community – including PeaceJam participants, other Billion Acts of Peace Fellows, Nobel Laureates, Network Members, nonprofit and business professionals.
- Financial Support: Fellows receive up to $5,000 in project funds to develop and grow their peacebuilding work. This investment goes directly into what they're building to expand the impact.
- Opportunities to Connect: Fellows will be invited to participate in PeaceJam conferences and virtual events and connected with global opportunities that support their goals and dreams.
PeaceJam Foundation - One Billion Acts of Peace Changemaker Fellowship Requirements
- A young adult between the ages of 18-30
- Already leading or actively building a project, initiative, or organization focused on peace, justice, equity, or social change in one of our 10 Key Issue Areas
- Project could be an emerging nonprofit, grassroots organizing, activism, or mission-driven entrepreneurship, among others
- Ready to be challenged, supported, and held accountable
- Eager to contribute, collaborate, and show up as yourself
- Somewhere between "just started" and "gaining traction" – not yet scaled, but serious
Application Date and Process
- Young leaders interested in the One Billion Acts of Peace Changemaker Fellowship 2026 should review the official fellowship requirements and application process before submitting their applications.
- Applicants should be prepared to clearly communicate their project or initiative, the problem they are addressing, the impact they have already achieved and how fellowship support could help them grow their work
