Peking University Scholarship Requirements
- Must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid ordinary passport
- Former Chinese citizens from mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan must show foreign nationality acquired before April 30, 2021 and formal renunciation/cancellation of Chinese citizenship
- Master’s applicants must hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Ph.D. applicants must hold a recognized Master’s degree or higher
- Applicants holding exceptionally strong Bachelor’s degrees may apply directly to Ph.D. programs in science and engineering disciplines
- Chinese-taught tracks require HSK 6 with overall score >200/210 and composition >65, or HSK Levels 7–9
- English-taught tracks require native English proficiency or valid test scores such as TOEFL iBT 100+ or GRE 315+ or equivalent evidence
- Physically and psychologically fit with no criminal record and strong academic standing
