The 2026 Canadian Youth Climate Action Award, presented by Pivot Green in partnership with Small Change Fund, celebrates youth-led climate projects across Canada that deliver measurable environmental and social impact.

Benefits of Pivot Green Canadian Youth Climate Action Award

• The Canadian Youth Climate Action Award will provide the first-place prize winner with $7,500 and a plaque. Two $3,500 prizes will be given to runners-up, and up to eight additional $1,000 prizes will be awarded to projects worthy of an honorable mention.

Pivot Green Canadian Youth Climate Action Award Requirements

To apply, projects must:

• Be youth-led, with leadership primarily by individuals under 30 years old

• Be established and have completed actions with measurable outcomes

• Demonstrate positive environmental and social impacts

• Show potential for replication or scalability within other Canadian communities

Projects can be local, regional, or national in scope but must provide evidence of completed work.
