About Policy Center for the New South - Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program for Young Professionals
Since 2012, the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) program has brought together over 40 emerging leaders each year, from Africa and across the Atlantic Basin, who are actively shaping policy, business, and societal debates.

Policy Center for the New South - Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders Program for Young Professionals Requirements
The ADEL program is intended for professionals ready to engage in high-level, cross-sector discussions and contribute to a broader international conversation. Applicants should:
- Be 25–35 years old (as of December 6, 2026)
- Be fluent in English
- Be citizens or residents of countries in Africa or across the Atlantic Basin (Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean)
- Have significant professional experience in their field
- Be engaged in roles involving responsibility, influence, or decision-making
- Be available for the full program period (December 6–12, 2026)
