About Princeton University - Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts
The Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts awards three-year postdoctoral fellowships to three to five early-career humanists and social scientists each year. Fellows divide their time between independent research and teaching: one course per semester in years one and two, and one course in year three. Disciplines represented include history, philosophy, literature, political theory, art history, sociology, anthropology, religious studies, and adjacent fields.

- Annual salary between $101,000–$105,000

Princeton University - Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have received a Ph.D. after January 1, 2025, or
- Be in progress with a minimum of 50% of their dissertation completed
- Fulfill all Ph.D. requirements by June 15, 2027
- Not hold or pursue degrees in Education, Jurisprudence, and from Princeton University
- Apply only once to the Society of Fellows
- Demonstrate substantial academic achievement and teaching potential
