The Pro Helvetia Research Trip is an international mobility programme that enables Swiss artists and cultural practitioners to expand their creative practice through research and professional exchange abroad.Rather than supporting the production of a finished artistic project, the programme focuses on creative exploration, artistic research, networking, and long-term collaboration. Participants are encouraged to immerse themselves in the local cultural environment, engage with artists and cultural organisations, and build relationships that may lead to future collaborative projects. The programme strengthens cultural dialogue between Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates, encouraging knowledge sharing and international artistic cooperation.
The programme is open to cultural practitioners from Switzerland working across disciplines supported by Pro Helvetia.
