The LivArch project invites Ukrainian scholars residing outside Ukraine to apply for short-term, paid fellowships to support research related to Russia’s war on Ukraine. The program emphasizes the development of methods and theories for documenting, preserving, and ethically presenting diverse sources about the war. Fellowships empower individuals and initiatives that curate and analyze such sources responsibly.
Stipend: €1,500 per month covering living expenses, travel, health insurance, and materials
Optional travel support: Up to €500 for short-term stay in Marburg
Ukrainian scholars currently residing outside Ukraine
Open to early-career and experienced scholars
Fluency in English or German is required
Preference for applicants whose work aligns with the project’s thematic framework
