Pulitzer Center Global South Civil Society Microgrants Requirements

To be eligible for the Pulitzer Center Global South Civil Society Microgrants, organizations must meet the following criteria:

• Be a grassroots organization, community educator, civil society organization or coalition, youth movement, or similar group.
• Work at the intersection of journalism, civic rights, and active citizenship.
• Have prior experience developing and implementing civic engagement activities in Africa, Latin America, or Southeast Asia.
• Demonstrate proven experience working on the identified environmental and climate topics.
• Show a track record of co-creating impactful projects with communities or organizations.
• Possess the operational capacity to manage microgrant resources from an international organization.
