The Pulitzer Center has launched a call for journalism proposals focusing on climate and labor. Journalists, editors, and media organizations are invited to apply. The climate crisis is having a profound effect on labor issues around the world. Critical issues at the intersection of climate and labor—including gender discrimination, loss of traditional livelihoods, and a just transition to clean energy—are all in urgent need of reporting.
Grants range from USD $5,000 to $15,000, depending on the scope and needs of the project.

Travel grants cover hard reporting costs only. Stipends for applicants should not be included.

Applicants of any nationality may apply. For team submissions, the team lead should apply as the main applicant.
