About Robert Gordon University Vice-Chancellor Scholarship
Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is an undergraduate award that covers the full first year’s tuition fee for international and EU students enrolling at Robert Gordon University. The Vice-Chancellor Scholarship applies to students coming to study any undergraduate degree at RGU for the September intake.
The scholarship is offered by Robert Gordon University (RGU) based in Aberdeen, Scotland. RGU provides industry-led undergraduate and graduate degrees, and the Vice-Chancellor’s Undergraduate Scholarship is administered by the university with awards applied upon enrolment.

- RGU only permits one university scholarship, monetary prize, or discount per offer; typically, the qualified grant that benefits the student the most is applied.
- Upon enrolling at the university, scholarships, financial awards, and discounts will be given.
- The financial grant and discount will be applied pro rata to part-time students.
- Discounts will be given at the university’s discretion.
- The larger of the total of the cash award, scholarship, or discount will be used as the most advantageous individual award for each student.
- Only self-funding students are eligible for RGU Scholarships and Awards.
Robert Gordon University Vice-Chancellor Scholarship Requirements
- To be eligible, applicants must have met all conditions (excluding deposit payment) by the deadline date.
- be applying to directly enter either year 1 or year 2 of an undergraduate course at RGU
- hold an offer from Robert Gordon University for a full time on campus undergraduate course
- be classed as the university as either an international or European fee payer
- must be a self-funding student
- be applying for the September 2026 intake. Students who are joining the January 2026 intake – fast track programme students are eligible to apply for this scholarship when they begin their second year in September of that same year, but January start shorter programme students are not eligible for this scholarship
- be willing to embody the experience, by engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for Robert Gordon University, by promoting the value of studying at Robert Gordon University
