Benefits of Russell Sage Foundation’s Core Research Grants Program

  • Funding Levels:
    • Trustee-approved grants: Up to $200,000 including indirect costs.
    • Presidential-Authority grants: Up to $75,000.

Russell Sage Foundation’s Core Research Grants Program Requirements

  • Principal investigators (PIs) and co-PIs must hold a doctorate.
  • Exceptional candidates without a doctoral degree may be considered if they demonstrate substantial and credible research experience.
  • Students are not eligible to apply.
