The Sheldon Danziger Pipeline Grants are designed to help early-career researchers conduct high-quality social science research while building long-term research careers. Russell Sage Foundation - Sheldon Danziger Pipeline Grant Program Requirements
Eligible applicants include:
- Assistant Professors.
- Adjunct Assistant Professors.
- Lecturers.
Applicants must:
- Not have previously received an RSF research grant, excluding Dissertation Research Grants.
- Meet all eligibility requirements by the application submission deadline.
The programme:
- Has no nationality restrictions.
- Has no restrictions on institution location.
- Encourages applications from scholars who are underrepresented in the social sciences.
- Encourages applications from scholars employed at under-resourced universities.
- Promotes disciplinary diversity.
Who is Not Eligible?
The following applicants are not eligible to serve as Principal Investigators:
However, post-doctoral fellows may participate as research assistants.
In addition:
- Full Professors.
- Associate Professors.
- Scholars who have previously received RSF funding.
may serve as Co-Principal Investigators, but they:
- Cannot receive salary support.
- Cannot receive conference travel funding through the grant.
