The Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation provides annual community grants to support local organizations delivering impactful programs and activities that strengthen the region’s communities. Grants aim to foster engagement, enhance services, and create meaningful outcomes for residents across Central Saanich, North Saanich, and Sidney.
Typical grants range from $1,000 to $5,000 per organization
Awards are provided once a year in the spring
Funding is intended for clearly defined purposes and projects over a specific time period
Preference is given to programs demonstrating community impact and sustainability
Registered charities with the Canada Revenue Agency
Registered British Columbia not-for-profit organizations
Must have been operating for at least one year
Organizations should demonstrate strong governance, fiscal responsibility, and effective resource management
Ineligible Activities
Annual fund drives or building campaigns
Deficit reduction or direct religious activities
Statutory programs of institutions or political activities
Large capital projects (small, identifiable components may be considered)
