About San José State University Graduate Equity Fellowship

San José State University Graduate Equity Fellowship Requirements
To be eligible for the Graduate Equity Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled as graduate students at SJSU for the Fall/Spring 2024-2025 academic year, completing at least 6 units in each academic term (Fall and Spring).
- These 12 units must appear on the master's candidacy form.
- Coursework taken to complete program prerequisites does not count toward this requirement.
- Academic Status: Applicants must be in good academic standing.
- Financial Need: The fellowship is aimed at economically disadvantaged students who have demonstrated success in overcoming financial barriers to their education.
- Exclusions: Credential students are not eligible for this fellowship.
- The program also encourages a diverse pool of applicants, with an emphasis on providing opportunities for students who have successfully navigated financial challenges.
