Opportunity Details
The Saskatoon Community Foundation offers the Quality of Life Grant Program to support local initiatives that enhance belonging, social cohesion, and overall community well-being. The program funds projects that address priority social needs within Saskatoon and help create a more inclusive, connected city.
Grant Amount: Up to $10,000 per project
Applicants must be qualified donees: registered charities, public institutions, or municipal bodies.
Projects must directly benefit Saskatoon residents.
Organizations with outstanding reports or those funded for three continuous years are not eligible.
1. Submit a Letter of Intent (LOI)
Complete the online LOI form
Outline the project’s purpose, beneficiaries, and expected outcomes
Management reviews and recommends LOIs for advancement
2. Receive an Invitation for Full Application
Only shortlisted applicants are invited to submit the full application.
3. Prepare and Submit the Full Application
Provide detailed project plans
Include financials, partnerships, methods, and sustainability plans
Applications are evaluated by the Grants Committee
4. Final Review and Approval
Grants Committee recommendations go to the Board of Directors
Board makes final funding decisions
Management may allocate Field of Interest Funds through due diligence if needed
