CSC High-Level Postgraduate Program is a full scholarship program funded by the Chinese government for international students to pursue postgraduate degrees in China. SNNU, as an enrollment institution for the CSC High-Level Postgraduate Scholarship Program, welcomes outstanding international students to apply. SNNU will recommend excellent candidates to CSC, and the final admission will be determined after reviewed by CSC experts.
Log on SNNU Online Application System (https://snnu.17gz.org/) and CSC Online Application System(https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/) before Feb. 23, 2026 (overdue application will not be accepted). The agency number of SNNU is 10718, and students should choose type B.
Applicants shall fill in the application information online and upload the following application materials:
1.1 A Copy of Passport Home Page. If applicant’s current passport expires before September of 2026, applicants shall apply for a new passport before submitting the application.
1.2 A Notarized Highest Diploma. Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
1.3 Academic Transcripts. Copies of academic records from first to last semester during the undergraduate, graduate (if any), and doctoral programs (if any) shall be provided. These transcripts shall be issued and sealed by the attending university’s academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department.
1.4 Language Qualification Certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must submit valid reports of HSK Level 4 and above. Applicants for English-taught programs shall provide valid English language proficiency certificates like IELTS or TOFEL report. Applicants who have received a degree from Chinese university or using Chinese as the language of instruction are not required to provide proof of the HSK.
1.5 A Study Plan Proposal. A study plan written in Chinese or English with more than 1000 characters or words.The proposal of a doctoral student shall be signed by the applicant’s Chinese supervisor.
1.6 Two Recommendation Letters. These letters shall be written only in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors, describing the applicant’s objectives of learning in China, comprehensive abilities, and evaluation of future growth, as well as the cooperation between the supervisors or the exchange between universities of both sides.
1.7 A Photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The form shall be completed in English (the original copy shall be kept by the applicant). The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
1.8 Non-criminal Record Report. Applicants shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.
1.9 Supporting Materials. Published scientific research papers or patents, awards and other supporting materials that can reflect applicant’s scientific research ability and comprehensive quality.
