About Shevchenko Foundation Music Sector Arts Pillar Grants
The Shevchenko Foundation Music Sector Grants provide project-based funding to Canadian music groups working in traditional, classical, liturgical, and contemporary music influenced by Ukrainian heritage. The program supports concerts, tours, recordings, festivals, and commissioned works that strengthen Ukrainian Canadian culture and expand public engagement across Canada.

Eligible applicants include:
- Canadian not-for-profit organizations
- Artist collectives operating primarily in Canada
- Registered private businesses in the cultural sector
- Chartered educational institutions
- Performance groups (choirs, orchestras, ensembles, theatre-music hybrids)
Eligibility requirements:
- Project must relate to Ukrainian Canadian cultural heritage
- Application must be submitted before project start date
- Organization must demonstrate financial responsibility and capacity
