About Sidney Sussex College - The Sandra Dawson Fellowship
Sidney Sussex College invites applications from exceptional early-to-mid-career academics in any field of academic research and scholarship, to become the first holder of the Sandra Dawson Fellowship. The Fellowship will nurture emerging academic talent while advancing the College’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion - values that reflect Sandra’s lifelong passions and professional legacy.
Benefits of Sidney Sussex College - The Sandra Dawson Fellowship
- The Fellowship has a fixed, non-renewable tenure of three years. In addition to all usual privileges of Fellowship, the Dawson Fellow’s research will benefit from a special yearly Research Allowance of £5,000, additional to the Fellow’s Academic Allowance (currently £1,500 pa).
Sidney Sussex College - The Sandra Dawson Fellowship Requirements
- Applications are now open to exceptional scholars who either currently hold, or have been appointed to hold, an academic position within the collegiate University.
- Eligible candidates may include recently appointed University Teaching Officers, holders of personal research grants hosted in University departments, as well as existing Fellows, Bye-Fellows, and Research Associates associated with the College.
