The SAH IDEAS Research Fellowship is an initiative of the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) designed to support a more diverse and inclusive community of architectural history scholars.Established in 2022, the fellowship responds to structural inequities within the field and the broader academic community. It provides emerging scholars with financial assistance, professional mentorship, and opportunities to connect with peers.The program supports research that challenges established approaches to architectural history or develops areas of scholarship that have historically received limited attention and resources.
Each selected fellow receives a package of financial and professional support.
$1,000 Fellowship Award
Each fellow receives a one-time award of $1,000 to support their research or related scholarly activities.
The fellowship is open to emerging scholars worldwide who meet the program’s academic and enrollment requirements.
