The HPC Community Fund Small Grants programme is designed to support local groups in Somerset that are affected by the construction and operation of Hinkley Point C (HPC).
Funding can be used flexibly: running projects, refurbishing buildings, or buying equipment.
Provides opportunities for small groups (under £250,000 annual income) to access meaningful financial support.
Offers multi-year funding (up to 3 years), giving stability for longer-term projects.
Local groups with annual income under £250,000.
Must be based in areas impacted by Hinkley Point C (HPC) (e.g., Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, nearby villages).
Must meet Somerset Community Foundation’s minimum standards (governance, finances, safeguarding, etc.).
