The Stafford Borough Council Small Grants Fund is a local community funding scheme designed to strengthen grassroots organisations delivering services and facilities to residents within Stafford Borough. The programme supports initiatives that create tangible, lasting benefits for the local community and enhance organisational reach or sustainability.
Eligible applicants must:
Operate within Stafford Borough (including Stone and surrounding villages)
Deliver services or facilities benefiting borough residents
Ensure primary beneficiaries reside within Stafford Borough
Organisations whose primary beneficiaries are outside the borough are not eligible.
The fund does not support:
Projects eligible for Stafford Borough Council sports or arts grants
Medical research initiatives
Animal welfare projects
Core costs such as staff salaries or general running expenses
Religious projects that promote religion
Political campaigning linked to a single party
Statutory bodies or statutory service provision
Retrospective costs (goods/services ordered before approval)
