About Stanmore Resources Limited Community Grant Program

The Stanmore Resources Community Grant Program is designed to support the essential work of community groups, clubs, schools, and not-for-profit organisations that contribute to strong, connected, and resilient regional communities.The program recognises the vital role local organisations play in improving quality of life and provides funding for projects that deliver clear and lasting benefits to communities across Moranbah, Nebo, Mackay, and nearby rural locations.

Benefits of Stanmore Resources Limited Community Grant Program

• Grants of up to $5,000 per funding round

• Applications of up to $10,000 for significant projects or initiatives

• Requests above $10,000 may be discussed directly with Stanmore Resources

Stanmore Resources Limited Community Grant Program Requirements

Applications will only be accepted from organisations, and not individuals. Applications for funding will be considered from organisations that:

• Deliver activities, programs or projects that best address the funding criteria outlined in these Guidelines;
• Are located in the communities of Moranbah, Nebo, Mackay and their nearby surrounding locations, or if the organisation is not itself located locally, the activity, program or project must be; and
• Pursue objectives of significant and demonstrable benefit to the local community.

Application Date and Process

• Identify a community need or opportunity aligned with the funding criteria

• Design a project that delivers clear local benefit

• Determine the appropriate funding amount based on project scope

• Prepare an application demonstrating community impact and alignment

• Submit the application during an open funding round

• Engage with Stanmore Resources if seeking funding above $10,000
