The PERI-ACE Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded Intra-Africa academic mobility scheme supporting African students to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at participating higher education institutions across the continent. It covers travel, visa fees, subsistence, accommodation, settling-in, female allowances, insurance, and academic and research costs. The programme targets climate resilience sub-themes such as sustainable agriculture and food security, water resource management, renewable energy and green solutions, and disaster risk reduction and management.
Led by Stellenbosch University in South Africa, the PERI-ACE consortium brings together partner institutions in Ethiopia, Senegal, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, and South Africa. The scheme fosters collaboration and mobility to strengthen education, research, and professional development across Africa. Eligible applicants must be African citizens legally resident in Africa, registered at or alumni of recognised African higher education institutions, and hold a degree from a core African institution within the consortium.
