The grant amount depends on whether the application is submitted by an individual or a collective.

• Individual designers: up to €8,250.
• Collectives: up to €28,250.
• For collectives, the first designer can receive up to €8,250.
• Each additional designer can receive up to €5,000.
• The maximum grant for a collective is €28,250, regardless of collective size.

This structure allows the programme to support both individual professional development and collaborative practice development.

Stimuleringsfonds Professionalisation and Practice Development for Designers Requirements

The programme is open to individual designers and temporary collectives working in areas such as design, architecture, digital culture, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Eligible applicants must:

• Be a designer, architect, or professional working in digital culture or a related design field.
• Have at least four years of independent professional practice.
• Be based in the Netherlands or Dutch Caribbean.
• Apply individually or as part of a collective.
• Ensure that one participant is designated as the lead applicant when applying as a collective.

The programme is particularly relevant to established independent practitioners who are looking to develop the professional or strategic side of their practice.
