AgroPolis (Promoting AGROecology through co-creating value chain innovations and improved multilevel POLIcieS in a beyond-growth Europe) addresses the urgent challenge of transforming European food value chains from farm to fork. The project moves away from unsustainable models towards locally anchored, diverse and equitable systems.
It applies a two-tiered multi-actor living lab approach, combining six national living labs in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Italy, Spain and Slovenia. These labs co-create, test and assess innovations across agroecological value chains. A cross-country policy hub shares experiences, identifies barriers and co-develops actionable policy recommendations.
