About Walsh Scholars Programme
The Walsh Scholars Programme is a fully funded training programme for graduates undertaking PhD and Masters research in agriculture, food, environment, climate, rural development and related disciplines. Scholars are based in Teagasc’s national research centres and partner universities, studying in multidisciplinary teams on research with real-world national and international impact.Teagasc is the national authority for integrated research, training and advisory services in the agri-food sector in Ireland. Through the Walsh Scholars Programme, Teagasc offers a supportive, cohort-based research community with access to state-of-the-art facilities and leading researchers.

Walsh Scholars Programme Requirements
