TechCongress is looking for a Programs Intern to work with staff and fellows. You will support TechCongress's Congressional Innovation Fellowship and contribute to our programs.
This internship is a hybrid position, with the intern working at least two days a week in our Washington, D.C. office. The ideal intern will be able to work full-time (40 hours/week). You must be based in the D.C. metropolitan area (DC, MD, VA) for the duration of this internship.
Enrolled in, or having recently completed, a secondary degree program (undergraduate, graduate, or taking a gap year)
A self-starter who can take on projects with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong organizational skills, and keen attention to detail
Available to work 20-40 hours a week.
Additional Skills (a plus, but not required):
Experience scoping out new initiatives or conducting outreach
Experience with coding or data analysis
Experience with events planning
Interest in tech and policy
