The Brookings Institution - Echidna Global Scholars Program Requirements
- Applicants should have substantial experience in, connections to, and a clear intent to return to a country in the Global South.
- A Master’s degree (or above) in the field of economics, public policy, education, development, or a comparable social science or humanities field is necessary.
- Ten or more years of work experience in government, nongovernmental, community, or civil society groups, or in research and academia.
- A deep understanding of education development issues and gender is required.
- Collaboration skills, receptiveness to criticism, and a willingness and ability to pick things up quickly and adaptably.
- Proficiency in English is a requirement for all Echidna Global Scholars.
