The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) is launching the 2027 edition of the Young Leaders Training Program, an initiative dedicated to strengthening the political participation of young men and women engaged in civil society, trade unions and political parties in Cameroon.
The programme promotes the values of social democracy – freedom, justice and solidarity – by equipping a new generation of young changemakers.
Since 2012, the FES has been supporting young leaders in Yaoundé and, since 2018, has placed particular emphasis on the training of Cameroonian participants.
For the 2027 edition, 25 young women and men will be selected to participate in 8 two-day training sessions (from Thursday to Friday), organized each end of March to December 2027, face-to-face or online (Zoom).
These sessions will address a variety of themes: political leadership, strategic communication, democratic values, and operational management tools.
