About Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship
The Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship is an interdisciplinary Arts in Medicine fellowship program for students and professionals in Arts and Health. This hybrid program is conducted primarily online with weekend sessions and supports participants in using the arts for wellbeing, community development, and healthcare engagement

Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship Requirements
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in arts in health, creative health, community wellbeing, or interdisciplinary practice.
- Be able to participate fully in the 13–14‑week hybrid weekend programme (Saturdays & Sundays).
- Have basic digital literacy for Zoom sessions, online learning, and community engagement activities.
- Show commitment to social impact, community service, or creative health innovation.
Academic & Professional Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- Be a professional, practitioner, educator, researcher, clinician, artist, therapist, or cultural worker in a relevant field.
- Be a student or emerging practitioner in arts, health, social sciences, humanities, or related disciplines.
- Be actively involved in community development, public health, creative practice, or social innovation.
- Be working on or planning a creative health, arts‑based, or community wellbeing project.
Selection Criteria
Applicants are evaluated on:
- Commitment to Creative Health – A clear passion for arts, health, wellbeing, or community transformation.
- Leadership & Community Engagement – Evidence of leadership potential, community involvement, or social impact work.
- Interdisciplinary Openness – Willingness to learn across cultures, sectors, and global contexts.
- Project Potential – A strong idea for a pilot project addressing health, social, or community challenges.
- Professional Diversity – GAIMF prioritises a multidisciplinary, multicultural cohort representing arts, health, culture, education, and social sectors.
