The goal of the ICANN Fellowship Program is to strengthen the representation of the multistakeholder model by fostering opportunities for individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities to become active participants in the ICANN community.
Fellows who apply for the ICANN Fellowship Porgram will receive the following benefits:
Travel covered: Airfare and Accommodation booked and paid for directly by ICANN.
Stipend: Up to $500 to cover meals, local transport, and incidentals; paid after program completion and submission of post-meeting survey.
Insurance: Fellows are responsible for all insurance (travel,health etc) Reimbursement only if required for a visa with proof.
Flexibility: Personal or addition business travel can be added in accordance with the ICANN Community Travel Support Guidelines.
Mentorship: Fellows are assigned mentors who guide them through the ICAAN processes and help them intergrate into the community.
Training and Development: Participants receive training in various areas related to ICANN's work, including policy development, DNS operation and global internet security.
Networking Opportunities: Fellows can network with ICANN community members, alumni and other skateholders to foster valuable professional relationships.
