About The New Africa Fund - Africa Fundraising Incubator

The Africa Fundraising Incubator - AFI (previously called the Africa Impact Fundraising Grant - AIFG) is a multi-stage capacity-building program designed by the New Africa Fund (NAF) to equip African organizations with the practical skills, resources, and institutional support needed to build sustainable funding pipelines, broaden their reach, and deepen their impact.

Benefits of The New Africa Fund - Africa Fundraising Incubator

• Selected organizations will receive foundational training on individual donor campaigns.
• Selected organizations will participate in a 30-day fundraising challenge, with up to $5,000 USD in matching funds available.
• All participating organizations will receive 12 months of free fiscal sponsorship from the New Africa Fund, with the possibility of extension.
• Top-performing organizations will be invited to a week-long intensive workshop in Kigali to deepen their fundraising expertise.
• Additional performance-based fundraising opportunities will be provided as the program develops.

The New Africa Fund - Africa Fundraising Incubator Requirements

• Only organizations registered in one of the 54 African Union member states are eligible to apply.

Application Date and Process

Before you apply make sure you have collected the following documents to upload as PDFs:

• Organization’s Registration Document

• Most recent external audit. If no audit is available upload five months financial statements for all accounts.
