About The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
The programme is designed to support immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate or professional studies in the United States.The fellowship identifies and selects 30 outstanding New Americans each year who demonstrate strong potential to contribute meaningfully to American society, culture, and their professional fields. The initiative is built around the belief that immigrant communities bring significant intellectual, cultural, and professional value to the United States.
Benefits of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
Total support includes:
- Up to $90,000 in combined funding over one to two years
- $50,000+ in stipend support
- $40,000 in tuition support paid directly to universities
Annual breakdown:
- Up to $25,000 per year in stipend support (paid directly to Fellows)
- Up to $20,000 per year in tuition support (paid directly to institutions)
