The Temiskaming Foundation is currently accepting applications for its For Kids Sake Fund Grant Program 2026. Interested applicants are encouraged to click here to learn more about this opportunity and apply for it.
The For Kids Sake Fund, also known as the Ontario Endowment for Children and Youth in Recreation, supports community-based recreation opportunities for children and youth under 18 in the District of Timiskaming, Ontario.
The fund was established in 2000 through a partnership between the Province of Ontario and donors from across Timiskaming. It is managed by The Temiskaming Foundation.
Grant decisions are made with input from an Advisory Committee that includes representatives from municipal recreation, cultural organizations, education, other local organizations, and the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Eligible applicants must be organizations or public bodies that provide programming within the District of Timiskaming and meet the Foundation’s charitable purposes.
