About UNU-INWEH Scholarship

The UNU-INWEH Scholarship 2026 in Canada is a fully funded opportunity for PhD holders to work as an Academic Partnerships Coordinator at the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health. UNU-INWEH Scholarship Requirements

• PhD in Food Systems, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Agricultural Sciences/Engineering, Geography, Geospatial  Sciences, or related field
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in the above fields
• Experience with partnerships with academic institutes and universities globally
• Demonstrated experience in resource mobilization and research grants
• Proven experience in academic writing and policy-oriented reports
• Experience with development of capacity building material and online learning systems
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment
• Excellent writing/editing and verbal communications skills
• Professional level fluency in English is required
