About The Urology Foundation Innovation & Research Fund
The Innovation and Research Fund from The Urology Foundation provides targeted funding for researchers and clinicians working to advance urology and related medical disciplines. The fund focuses on supporting innovative, well-designed research projects that can generate new evidence, pilot novel approaches, and ultimately improve outcomes for people affected by urological conditions.
Benefits of The Urology Foundation Innovation & Research Fund
- The Urology Foundation will fund projects up to a value of £70,000 that seek to use new, exciting, innovative approaches to address urological diseases and disorders.
The Urology Foundation Innovation & Research Fund Requirements
Our funding comes with the following provisions:
- Research must be carried out in the UK or Ireland.
- Applications are subject to rigorous review by our Review Panel and our Scientific and Education Committee.
- Successful applicants must provide a satisfactory progress report to secure the final grant instalment. You’re also encouraged to submit abstracts to the British Association of Urological Surgeon’s (BAUS) Annual Meeting.
Please note that our Innovation and Research Fund is an individual award: the named applicant must be the person carrying out the research.
