- Relevant experience in economics or a similar field, with strong ability in:
- Data ingestion and database management
- Working with large datasets
- Indicator development
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python for data science, database management, and statistical/econometric analysis.
- Experience using platforms and tools such as GitHub, AWS, and MySQL.
- Experience with large cross-country datasets and/or composite indicators.
- Ability to create and maintain data visualization dashboards and public-facing analytical products.
- Strong drafting, presentation, project management, and communication skills.
Desirable (but not mandatory):
- Background or interest in innovation studies and innovation policy.
- Knowledge of another official UN language.
- Knowledge of applied economics or innovation economics.
