The Townsville RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Townsville City Council, aimed at promoting and developing arts, culture, and heritage across the region.
Grant Amount: $1,000–$10,000 per project.
Eligible applicants include:
Individual professional or emerging artists
Arts and cultural workers
Project coordinators with an ABN or suitable auspice arrangements
Not-for-profit organisations capable of assuming legal and financial responsibility for the project
Applicants must:
Be based in the Townsville City Council area, or clearly demonstrate community benefit
Be free of outstanding debts or grant acquittals with the Council
Hold appropriate public liability insurance
Demonstrate that the project meets a clear local community need
Confirm Eligibility: Ensure the applicant and project meet RADF criteria and priority areas.
Prepare Application: Include project objectives, expected outcomes, budget, and community benefit.
Submit Proposal: Applications must be submitted according to Townsville City Council guidelines.
Align with Priorities: Clearly indicate how the project addresses cultural capacity, concept development, collaboration, or community involvement.
