The Trust Waikato Grants and Funding Programme supports community organisations in New Zealand’s Waikato region to deliver initiatives that enhance community vibrancy, resilience, and wellbeing.
Minimum grant: $1,000
Applicants must generally:
Be a for-purpose organisation operating mainly in the Waikato region
Hold a bank account and provide annual financial statements
Pursue a charitable purpose
Demonstrate strong community benefit and volunteer involvement
The programme supports not-for-profit organisations of all sizes and stages, giving priority to projects with tangible outcomes for communities with the greatest need.

Prepare a project proposal outlining:
Objectives and expected community impact
Alignment with one or more eligible focus areas
Volunteer involvement and engagement strategies
Budget and timeline
Submit the application through the Trust Waikato online portal or as instructed
Await decision, communicated within 12 weeks of the application round closing
