About UK government Women in Innovation Awards
Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is offering up to 60 Women in Innovation Awards to women founders and co-founders of micro, small or medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK. This is subject to a sufficient number of high quality applications being received.
Benefits of UK government Women in Innovation Awards
- The grant funding will be paid to all participants in three instalments.
- The Women in Innovation Award is offering up to 60 Women in Innovation Awards to women founders and co-founders of micro, small, or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK.
- Similarly, the Successful projects will receive up to £75,000 of grant funding and bespoke business support for 12 months.
- Applicants from all backgrounds are eligible for this international award.
- Moreover, this funded award is designed for women.
UK government Women in Innovation Awards Requirements
- Your project must have a grant funding request of up to £75,000
- Similarly, your project lasts for 12 months.
- Your project must start on 1 July 2026 and end on 30 June 2027.
- All applicants must be resident in the UK.
- Moreover, all applicants must engage in a minimum of 10 hours of training and development support.
- You must commit to a minimum of four hours of role modelling activity to inspire future generations of women innovators.
- Additionally, Subcontractors are also eligible for this international award.
- Your total grant funding request must not exceed £75,000.
- The award holders will be required to commit to a minimum of four hours of role modelling activity to inspire future generations of women innovators over the 12-month duration of the award.
