• Startups selected for the Blockchain Ventures cohort will receive equity-free funding of up to US$100,000 in ETH, BTC or USDC, along with tailored technical mentorship to support piloting, implementation and measuring of impact during the 12-18-month investment period.

UNICEF Venture Fund for Blockchain-based Solutions Requirements

• Must be a registered private company in a UNICEF programme country.

• Commitment to open-source licensing (software: GNU GPL, MIT, BSD; hardware: CERN, MIT, TAPR; design/content: CC-BY).

• Existing prototype with promising pilot results.

• Solutions should generate public, real-time measurable data.

• Must demonstrate potential to positively impact vulnerable children.
