UNOPS Internship provides a six-month opportunity to gain practical experience in partnerships, event coordination, communications and knowledge management within the UNOPS Geneva office. The UNOPS Internship places interns at the centre of global events participation and stakeholder engagement, offering real-world tasks under supervision.
The internship is hosted by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Geneva, supporting the Global Portfolios Office and its multi-regional programmes. UNOPS Geneva works with governments, UN agencies and partners to advance the Sustainable Development Goals through project and fund management, advisory services and operational support.

- Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or have recently completed (within 3 years prior to the application date of the internship) a Bachelor/Master’s/Ph.D. Degree in developmental studies, political science, international relations or related field.
- No prior experience required.
- One-year of experience in the field of business development, communications, and/or partnerships in a reputable organization.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Experience in the usage of computers and software packages (Google Suite/Workspace Office) and experience in handling web-based systems.
- Language requirements: English – Fluent (Required); French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian – Intermediate (Desirable).
