Université Laval HIV/AIDS Research Fund Doctoral Recruitment Award Requirements
Student candidate:
- Be admitted or have submitted an application for admission for the first time in fall 2025, winter 2026 or summer 2026 in a postgraduate program of the Faculty of Medicine of Laval University, with obtaining of his master's degree or equivalent;
- The research project must focus on HIV/AIDS;
- Do not benefit from any nominative scholarship over $15,000. However, the student undertakes to apply for scholarships to other organizations;
- Scholarships are not transferable to another program, faculty, university or applicant.
University record:
- Excellence in academic record considering the diploma or diplomas serving as the basis for admission to the doctorate (minimum average of 3.00/4.33);
- Scholarships, prizes and distinctions.
Abilities and experiences:
- Other research projects, publications, conferences and presentations.
Research project
- Clarity and conciseness of the project description, hypothesis and objectives;
- Method, analysis;
- Originality and feasibility;
- Contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
Application Date and Process
When submitting, you will need to include the following documents in your form:
- Copy of university degrees;
- Copy of university transcripts (capsule accepted);
- Letter of support from researcher (1 to 2 pages maximum).
The absence of one of these parts results rejection from the scholarship application.
