University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Merit Scholarship Requirements
- Hold a non-EU/EEA passport
- Not be eligible for Dutch study grants/loans (Studiefinanciering)
- Apply to a UvA Master’s programme for the first time
- Comply with Dutch visa regulations
- Enrol as a full-time student for the academic year
- Belong to the top tier academically (excellent students)

- Motivation letter (max 500 words).
- Completed LLM application.

- Submit your complete LLM application before 15 January 2027
- Submit your scholarship application via the UvA portal before 15 January 2027 (23:59 CET)
- Upload required documents (transcripts, CV, motivation letter)
- If applying for both AMS and Mr Julia Henriëtte Jaarsma-Adolfs Fund Scholarship, indicate this in the form (only one motivation letter required)
